Farmhouse transformation in Almancil

Flying the flag in the Algarve

Work was recently completed for Fine & Country Algarve on a new and quite creative take on a road hoarding.

The project, carried out by Algarve based design consultants Atelier do Sul, was proposed to Fine & Country Algarve to make maximum use of a derelict farmhouse located right on the roadside at the entrance to the busy town of Almancil where the latest Fine & Country Algarve office recently opened.

Each of the hoarding facing the oncoming traffic measure 10 x 3 metres. “The design company, having seen our extensive press and outdoor marketing elsewhere in the Algarve, came to us with the idea of painting the ruin black and putting it with huge Fine & Country hoardings on each side whilst covering the front with an image of a traditional old farmhouse. It was quite an investment, but given the importance of our new office in Almancil in the heart of the exclusive “Golden Triangle” area, we felt it would be a great opportunity,” says Zoie Hawker, managing partner of Fine & Country in the Algarve.
