Cambridge Christmas Carol Concert raised £1,500 for homelessness

The annual Cambridge Christmas Carol Concert, organised by Fine & Country Cambridge, has raised more than &1,500 for the Fine & Country Foundation. The Fine & Country Foundation has been established to give financial support to homeless charities and projects and will share the money raised between three local homeless charities; Wintercomfort, Emmaus and Jimmy's Cambridge.

The event was held on 8th December 2014 at the Cambridge Union Society Debating Chambers. The concert was sponsored by local businesses including Beauwater, Langham Press and Marshall, and Fine & Country Cambridge served guests complimentary mince pies and mulled wine.

The Cambridge Christmas Carol Concert is now in its third year and built on the success of last year’s event, with more than 200 people attending to enjoy the musical talents of the Fairhaven singers. Under Musical Director Ralph Woodward, the well renowned choir sang a range of traditional Christmas carols including ‘Once in Royal David’s City’, ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ and ‘O Come, All Ye Faithful’.

The event is a great example of how to fundraise whilst increasing brand awareness in your area and participating to community life.
