From 6th-21st September 2014, David Lench, Managing Director of Fine & Country Loughton, Canterbury and Isle of Wight, will cycle 1,000 miles with the hope of raising &100,000 for two children’s charities. The route begins at Land’s End and will finish at John O’Groats.
David, along with his son and Kevin Hafner, will pass through Wadebridge, Taunton, Bristol, Monmouth, Ludlow, Nantwich, Blackburn and Edinburgh, to name a few. The novice cyclists will face long, strenuous legs as well as climbs between 5,000 and 6,000 ft.
All sponsorships will be donated to two charities: Action Medial Research and chYps. Action Medial has dedicated 60 years to helping sick children through scientific research. chYps, which also focusses on the wellbeing of young children, provides terminally ill children with full hospice care in their and their families’ preferred location.
David would like to invite Fine & Country agents to join him for all or part of the route and to donate any sponsorship to his Virgin Money Giving account. Mike Bidwell will join David Lench for the first two days of the route in the south west.
