75,000 children will be homeless this Christmas and motivated by harrowing facts like this to make a difference, Fine & County Head Office has united businesses in Mayfair in order to help the homeless this winter.
Staff from Harrods Estates, Savills, Napier Watts and Chesterton Humberts estate agents, as well as employees from Aston Martin, Mayfair restaurants, a London bus tour company and a Park Lane beauty salon gathered in the Fine & Country office to raise money for homeless charities. They enjoyed fresh coffee and a selection of home-baked cakes (although we suspect some of them were coming straight from the shop) prepared by Fine & Country staff.
A raffle was drawn in the afternoon with some fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses. “Fino’s”, who we are sure you all know as Fine & Country's after work drink hide out, donated a meal for two worth &100, “Cardinals” of Mayfair donated a breakfast for two, a Selfridges voucher and a bottle of champagne. The Park Lane beauty salon next door also donated a manicure and a haircut. The generosity of local businesses was overwhelming.
The event was a great success and brought local business people together to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
The Fine & Country team raised over &600 for the Estate Agency foundation which distributes funds to established homeless charities such as Shelter, Broadway and St Mungo’s.
Whilst the EAF coffee morning week was 12th – 18th November, donations are always welcome. Please visit the website to make a donation http://www.eafcharity.org/
