Video: Grand Designs renovated folly

Kemeys Folly in Monmouthshire has had a showbiz past, featuring on an episode of Grand Designs with Kevin McCloud when the current owners completely renovated it. They gutted the historic folly, keeping as many period features as possible, and added a modern wing to the property. Now, Kemeys Folly is on the market and looking for a new owner.

History

Dating from around the 1700's, and originally a stone built hunting lodge for the Sheriff of Monmouth, the restoration has been combined with cutting edge design via a new glass extension to create what is now a wonderful home.
